STC India Initiative


You must have repeatedly heard about:
  • widening Academia-Corporate gap
  • students lacking Corporate Readiness skills
  • University curriculum not at par with corporate needs/expectations
  • Students not getting enough mentoring opportunities from corporate professionals
To address these concerns, STC India chapter is aggressively reaching out to colleges, universities, and students to:
  • Conduct awareness sessions about job/career opportunities in the field of technical communication
  • help them understand corporate expectations from a fresher 
  • introduce new short-term Industry-Ready courses or update existing courses

Awareness and Mentoring Sessions

Society of Technical Communication (STC), India Chapter is aggressively promoting opportunities in the Technical Writing and Technical Communication among Fresh Graduate. STC-India team of volunteers (corporate professionals working in top MNCs) will:

·         Conduct awareness sessions about job/career Opportunities

·         Provide opportunity for students to attend STC conference, seminars, and other events

·         Extend help in introducing introducing Industry-Ready course or update the curriculum of existing course as per the corporate needs/expectations

·         Help students/faculty understand the corporate expectation from a fresher

·         Share the tips to become corporate ready
